Rebuilt by Aircooled Performance (new cam/Udo lifters,fresh bearings etc) 2010
Berg 5 speed in Autocraft case. Quaiffe LSD. one piece FTC cromoly mainshaft. 3.88 r&p, w/4.25, 2.54, 1.48, 1.12, and .89 5th gear. Built by John Maher Racing. Berg axles. type 3 rear drums. Neal hydraulic pedal assembly/clutch. kennedy stage 3 ,daiken disc
JGE Torker wheels, painted. 2 inch narrowed beam. lowered spindles. koni shocks all round. Neal front discs. holley fuel pump and reg. Line-loc. heavy duty spring plates,flop stops. CSP torque bar
MSD dizzy. 6al unit. MSD 3 step with dial in for burnout box,rev limit and launch control. autometer control box for shift light. autometer oil temp and pressure guages,shift light and oil pressure warning light. line-loc
Full west of England wool headliner. square weave carpets.4 point cage,Owen engineering. 1970 recaro seats with 911 headrests,blue scottish leather with tweed inserts,matching door panels. simpson 4 point cam-lok harnesses. original 14 inch empi GT wheel. original door pulls and glovebox handle. locking bonnet pull. berg 60% 5 speed shifter with early finger grip handle.

Nicknamed the "Dark Lord" after the 1997 Volksworld article. Built by coachtrimmer Bernard Newbury,the car has changed from show car to race car and now back to a street machine.Enjoy the photos and details of how it was,and how it is now i own it.
